Sometimes the first step is a leap of faith.

The Push of the Pandemic

LULOA Yoga was an idea born out of the chaos and tumult of 2020. After the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of where I regularly taught, I found myself wondering, now what?!

Knowing how vital community and a predictable routine would be in the midst of such uncertainty, I decided to hop on the Zoom-bandwagon with the rest of the world and try my technology-challenged hand at teaching remotely.

Fast forward a year later and those OG Zoom-based classes blossomed into the online studio, LULOA Yoga. My goal is to continue teaching and sharing this practice remotely, with opportunities throughout the year to come together in-person as one collective LULOA Community and participate in volunteer activities and outdoor events. As I’ve said before,

“There’s no replacement for physically being together in a studio setting, but this is pretty dang close. You’d be surprised at the energy you can create and feel through a screen.”

With small class capacity (no more than 15 in a class), I am able to know each person by name and provide the same tailored guidance and alignment as an in-person setting. So, grab your device, roll out your mat, and let’s share in this practice together.
